Property development moves fast. Planning committees meet on fixed dates. Investors expect polished presentations. Marketing suites need to open on schedule. When you need a physical model of your scheme, you need it produced quickly, accurately, and without breaking the budget.
3D printed scale models are replacing traditional handmade models across the European development industry — not because they're a novelty, but because they solve real business problems. They're faster to produce, they cost less, and they're dimensionally exact to your architectural drawings.
When your scheme goes before a planning committee, a physical model communicates spatial relationships that drawings and renders simply cannot. Committee members can walk around the model, understand building heights relative to neighbours, and assess the proposal's impact on the streetscape. Planning models at 1:200 or 1:500 scale typically cost €200–€800 and are delivered within 5–7 business days.
A physical model on the boardroom table makes an immediate impression that slides and screen renders don't. For investor meetings, we produce detailed presentation models at 1:100 or 1:200 scale that show your scheme with accurate facades, massing, and site context. Models for investor presentations typically range from €400 to €1,500 depending on size and detail level.
For residential sales, a well-made model in the marketing suite becomes the centrepiece that draws buyers in and keeps them engaged. Our marketing suite models can include removable floors to show individual unit layouts, painted finishes to indicate materials, and illuminated bases for dramatic presentation. Marketing models typically range from €800 to €3,000+ depending on scale and finish requirements.
Community engagement goes more smoothly when residents can see and touch a physical representation of what's proposed. 3D printed models for public consultation are robust enough to handle being examined by hundreds of people, and affordable enough that you can produce multiple copies for different venues if needed.
Traditional architectural model making takes 2–8 weeks for a detailed model. In development, that kind of timeline can mean missing a planning committee deadline, delaying an investor meeting, or pushing back a marketing suite opening.
Our standard turnaround for most development models is 5–7 business days. Rush service in 2–3 days is available for urgent deadlines. For simple massing models, we can deliver in as little as 48 hours.
When designs change — and in development, they always change — updating a 3D printed model is straightforward. We re-print from the updated digital file. No reworking, no rebuilding from scratch. A revised model costs roughly the same as the original and arrives on the same timeline.
Getting a model produced is straightforward. We need three things from you:
A 3D file of your scheme. We work with all common formats: Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, ArchiCAD, STEP, STL, or even a well-built 3D PDF. If your architects have a digital model (and they almost certainly do), we can work with it.
The desired scale. 1:500 for masterplans and city context. 1:200 for planning and investor presentations. 1:100 for marketing suites and detailed schemes. We'll advise on the best scale for your intended use if you're unsure.
The intended use. A model for internal design review has different requirements than a model for a marketing suite. Knowing the purpose helps us recommend the right technology, finish level, and budget.
Development budgets are tight, and every cost needs to be justified. 3D printed models typically cost 30–60% less than equivalent handmade models — and the gap widens for complex designs with curved forms, detailed facades, or terrain.

We deliver finished models anywhere in Europe. Models are professionally packaged in custom foam-lined cases to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Tracked express shipping typically adds 1–2 business days to your timeline within the EU.
For large or particularly delicate models, we offer hand-delivery and on-site setup at your office, marketing suite, or event venue.
Send us your 3D file and a brief description of what you need. We'll respond with a fixed-price quote within 24 hours — no hidden costs, no surprises. If you're not sure whether a physical model is the right investment for your project, we're happy to discuss your options before you commit.
